Wall Street plunges following China's retaliation on tariffs

U.S. indices fell sharply on Monday’s session following China’s decision to slap tariffs on U.S. goods, in a clear sign of retaliation to Washington’s move last Friday.
The DJIA dropped by 2.4% at 25,324.99 points, its worst performance since January 3.
Meanwhile the S&P 500 also had its worst day since early January by sliding by 2.4% to close at 2,811.87.
To round things up on the day’s exchange the Nasdaq also shed by 3.4% to close at 7,647.02 and posting its worst close of the year so far.
