Wall Street had yet another mixed result following the Fed’s announcement on interest rates and an uncertainty about a possible fresh round of trade talks in Washington with Beijing’s officials.

The DJIA gave up 0.2% to close at 27,049.79 points while  the S&P 500 was mostly flat.

The Nasdaq, however, edged up by 0.1% to close at 8,182.886 as Microsoft shares gained 1.8%.

By the closing bell, the S&P 500 was 0.7% away from its record high despite a lackluster week on Wall Street.

The Dow and S&P 500 are down 0.4% and 0.02% for the week, respectively.
