Wall Street had a disappointing session on Tuesday as President Trump once again took to the offensive on China, hence diminishing any real hopes that a trade deal may be struck anytime soon.

Trump via his social media account said that, “China is doing very badly.”

“Worst year in 27, was supposed to start buying our agricultural product now, no signs that they are doing so. That is the problem with China, they just don’t come through.”

Amongst other announcements the Fed is also due to announce its latest policies and to see whether or not it will amend interest rates.

The DJIA closed lower by 0.1% to 27,198.02 points while the S&P 500 retreated by 0.3% to  to 3,013.18 and the Nasdaq fell by 0.2% to 8,273.6 points.
