US indices rally as Trump hints a trade deal is due

Wall Street had a successful start of the week as President Trump hinted to a trade deal being agreed on with Beijing.
“China called last night our top trade people and said ‘let’s get back to the table’ so we will be getting back to the table and I think they want to do something. They have been hurt very badly but they understand this is the right thing to do and I have great respect for it. This is a very positive development for the world.”
The Dow closed higher by 1.1% at 25,898.83, meanwhile the S&P 500 increased by the same margin as the Dow and the Nasdaq gained 1.3% to close on 7,853.74 points.
Apple led the DJIA by adding 1.9% while Micron and Advanced Micro Devices gained 1.1% and 2.5%, respectively.
