U.S. indices kicked the week off with a weak performance as earning reports from both Citigroup and Goldman Sachs failed to thrill investors.

The DJIA was lower by 0.1% as Goldman’s shares fell by over 2% while Citigroup edged higher by 0.1%.

The S&P 500 too closed the session lower by 1.83 points while the Nasdaq rounded things up by retreating by a slight 0.1%.
