Trump thankful of Xi ahead of Hanoi summit with Kim Jong-un

Donald Trump has been very thankful of his Chinese counterpart Xi Jinping ahead of his summit with North Korea’s leader Kim Jong-un in Vietnam’s capital Hanoi.
In a series of messages on social media, Trump said “The last thing China wants are large scale nuclear weapons right next door.”
He additionally added how Xi was “very helpful in his support” of the talks with North Korea.
Trump also suggested Kim “realises … that without nuclear weapons, his country could fast become one of the great economic powers anywhere in the World” and has “potential for rapid growth”.
Vietnam’s authorities in the meantime have welcomed the opportunity to host such an event with authorities ensuring no glitches are to be suffered and putting on a high show of presence of its security forces.
With all the above taking place, Pyongyang has taken side with Trump and even took a jab at his political opposition in the U.S. by accusing Democrats of plotting disrupt at the summit, which will be a second following the historical first meeting in Singapore last year.
