Hong Kong's manufacturing production makes up it smallest gain since 2017

Hong Kong’s manufacturing production rose by 0.3% over a year earlier in the second quarter of 2019, easing from a 1.4% increase from the previous period.
It was the smallest gain in factory output since the third quarter of 2017, as production slowed for food, beverages & tobacco was down to 1.8% from 2% in the first quarter.
Other manufacturing industries declined from 2.3% the previous quarter to 0.3%.
Along with that, metal, computer, electronic and optical products fell from 0.4% to -2.1%, however textiles and wearing apparel did increase to 1.3% from -0.1% the previous quarter.
