GBP drops to its lowest since mid 2017

Sterling has dropped against the greenback in earlier trading due to the delayed reports on the ongoing Brexit talks, falling to 1.2605, its lowest since June 2017.
Theresa May has recognized the vote on Brexit in the Commons and confirmed that there isn’t a majority and therefore will head to Brussels for reassurance.
Labour leader James Corbyn has blasted the PM and has called for her resignation as there is simply no point, in his view, to bring the same deal before parliament once more.
It is still left to see how the Brexit situation will unfold as the government faces defeat on the deal, which as Brussels officials confirmed, will not be renegotiated
