European markets trade higher as UK and EU agree on Brexit deal

EU indices traded higher as the EU announced a Brexit deal has been reached, nevertheless, consent is still needed at Westminster this coming Saturday.

As PM Johnson stated on social media, "We’ve got a great new deal that takes back control, now Parliament should get Brexit done on Saturday so we can move on to other priorities like the cost of living, the NHS, violent crime and our environment."

The London FTSE 100 rose by 0.6% while in Germany the DAX 30 advanced by 1%.

In Milan the Italian borsa, the FTSE MIB gained 0.8% as the Parisian CAC 40 increased 0.4% and the Madrid based index, IBEX 35, went up 0.8%.
