EU markets trade lower following summit ending in Hanoi

Eurozone markets traded lower mostly due to the rather abrupt end to the summit between Trump and Kim Jong-un in Hanoi.

The Stoxx Europe 600 dropped 0.2% while London’s FTSE 100 saw a decline of 0.6% although the pound held strong.

The IBEX of Madrid however rose by 0.2% along with Milan’s FTSE MIB which increased by 0.4%.

Meanwhile both Frankfurt’s DAX and Paris’s CAC 40 shed 0.2% and 0.1% respectively.
