EU markets decline due to weak data

Weak economic data and a wind of uncertainty has dragged the Eurozone markets slightly lower.

The Stoxx Europe 600 dropped by 0.2%, with the London based FTSE 100 leading the losses with a decline of 0.9% as British firms Centrica PLC and BAE Systems PLC both reported below average data.

Frankfurt’s DAX however enjoyed some gains as it inched higher by 0.3% along with Spain’s IBEX 35 which also climbed by 0.1%.

Rounding the exchange session Italy’s borsa FTSE MIB slid by 0.3% and France’s CAC 40 remained on a flat line throughout.
