EU indices trade lower as UK parliament is suspended

EU markets slumped during earlier trading as investors look ahead to the ECB meeting in which Mario Draghi is expected to release more information regarding monetary policies.

Meanwhile in the UK, PM Boris Johnson lost yet another bid to hold a snap election, nevertheless, parliament is suspended until October 14.

The FTSE 100 dropped 0.4% while in Berlin the the DAX 30 decreased 0.3%.

In Paris the CAC 40 lost 0.6% and the Madrid listed IBEX 35 went down 0.3% leaving the Italian borsa the FTSE MIB shedding 0.4%.
