Chinese exports fell by 1% year on year to $214.80 billion in the month of August, missing the analysts’ expectations of 2% and falling short of the 3.3% rise in the month of July.
The fall is due to a weakening global demand and the ongoing trade dispute with Washington which came into effect at the beginning of this month.
