Asian shares make slight gains, Australian Banks mostly up

Asian markets saw a slight recovery however were still sheepish after the U.S. Federal Reserve hinted that it might delay the increasing of interest rates for the time being.

Chinese markets, were a tad higher in the morning session, the Shanghai composite  rising by a mere 0.117%.

Hong Kong’s Hang Seng was up 0.27% while the Japan’s Nikkei and the Topic index made up for previous losses they went up 0.47% and 0.40% respectively.

South Korea’s KOSPI was up 0.3% as chipmaker SK Hynix’s shares went up 1.67% recovering from yesterday’s dark day for global chipmakers.

Over in Australia the ASX200 gained 0.38% along with the “Big Four”.

The Commonwealth Bank of Australia was up 0.90%, Westpac rose to 0.12%, New Zealand and Australia banking group however lost ground and dipped 0.25%.
