A. INDONESIA MORNING MARKET REVIEW
Monday (24/08/2020). The sentiment that appeared on the market during the Indonesian Stock Exchange was quite diverse where the positives were the increase in DJIA by + 0.55% & Nickel + 0.17% but the weighting factors (negative factors) in the JCI were more, including: EIDO fell -1.27%, Gold -3.13%, Oil -0.70%, Coal -2.17%, Timah -0.23% & CPO -0.67%, so knowing these conditions, JCI has the opportunity to fall back in trading this Monday amidst the achievement of the highest number of victims infected and killed by Corvid19, which was for 5 years. days (Wednesday to Sunday) there is an increase of around +10,492 people (up + 7.33%) infected with Corvid * so that so far the victims infected by Corvid19 have reached 153,535 people with an increase in the death toll for 5 days of +403 people (up + 6.42%) so far The death toll has reached 6,680, leading to 7,000 deaths in the near future (Fatality Rate of 4.35%)*.
B. INDONESIA CORPORATE NEWS
1. PT Indonesia Vehicle Terminal (IPCC)
The company recorded an increase in loading and unloading services for heavy equipment and cars after a significant decline in April 2020-May 2020. The loading and unloading of CBU vehicles increased 62.15% MoM to 16,246 units at the International Terminal in July 2020. The increase was above the prediction of 12,212 units.
2. PT Sri Rejeki Isman (SRIL)
In the midst of a pandemic, SRIL is able to produce personal protective equipment (PPE) of which quality is in accordance with that stipulated by the World Health Organization (WHO). Apart from PPE, the company also produces masks. With this production, the company recorded revenue growth from domestic sales of 8.18% YoY to US $ 275.59 million during semester 1/2020. On the other hand, the company experienced negative growth in terms of export sales. This line was recorded to have decreased by 11.93% YoY to US $ 332.64 million. Export sales still dominate the company`s revenue, amounting to 54.69% of total sales during that period. So that in total, the company`s sales post decreased by 3.83% on an annual basis to US $ 608.23 million. As a result, net profit fell by 7.98% on an annual basis to US $ 49.84 million.
3. PT Perintis Triniti Properti (TRIN)
The company was able to record marketing revenue of Rp. 122 billion during Semester I-2020. Triniti Land`s marketing revenue is obtained from selling apartment units in its 6 projects, namely Brooklyn, Yukata, Springwood, The Smith, Collins Boulevard and also Marcs Boulevard. Of the six projects, Collins Boulevard has the largest contribution to Triniti Land`s marketing revenue, amounting to 64% of the company`s total marketing revenue or around Rp. 78.9 billion. This year, Triniti Land will also continue to boost sales on Collins Boulevard by launching its second tower, The Scott, which is a convertible residence that can be converted into a residence or office.
4. PT Hanjaya Mandala Sampoerna (HMSP)
The Company was also affected by the Covid-19 pandemic. The company decided to lay off 7,894 employees as a result of the factory operational restrictions. As is known, the company has temporarily suspended production activities at two factories in Surabaya, namely Rungkut 2 as of 27 April 2020 and Rungkut 1 on 11 May 2020 after company employees tested positive for the Corona virus (Covid-19), and started operating again on 9 June 2020.
