Indonesia Market Today - 6 August 2020

A. INDONESIA MORNING MARKET REVIEW

Thursday (06/08/2020). The combination of the increase in DJIA by + 1.39% following Disney`s + 8.8% share as a result of good earnings and the success of the first phase vaccine trial, money injected into humans and generating immunity from pharmaceutical issuers Novavax and issuers Johnson & Johnson receiving vaccine orders worth USD1 billion for 100 million boxes and an increase in EIDO by + 2.35% became the driving catalyst for JCI to strengthen in trade this Thursday amid the achievement of the highest number of victims infected and killed due to Corvid19, where * on Wednesday there were +1,815 people infected with Corvid * so that so far the victims infected by Corvid19 reached 116,871 people (success far surpassing China, suspected to be the origin country of the Corona Virus and number 1 in Southeast Asia) with * the addition of the death toll on Wednesday as many as +64 people * so that so far the death toll has reached 5,452 people, leading to 6,000 deaths in the near future. (Fatality Rate of 4.66%) *.

Furthermore, the strengthening of most commodity prices, such as: Oil + 1.59%, Gold + 0.87%, Nickel + 1.95% and Timah + 0.52% have the potential to push up stocks under these commodities.

Knowing that there are enough positive factors driving the JCI so that * JCI has the opportunity to strengthen again this Thursday * amidst the valuation there are still quite a lot of attractive stocks to buy, we recommend being very selective if investors want to BUY or Swing Trade so they can focus on stocks from the Cigarette, Bank, sector. Consumers, Gold Metals, Heavy Equipment, Pharmaceuticals and Automotive in trading this Thursday.
