Indonesia Market Today - 24 June 2020


Wednesday (24/06/2020). DJIA strengthened again by + 0.50%, even the Nasdaq index continues to create new highs, potentially becoming a positive sentiment for JCI in trading this Wednesday amid the achievement of the highest number of returning victims who were infected and killed by Corvid19, where on Tuesday the number of victims affected by Corvid19 continues to increase reaching +1,051 people * so far Corvid19 victims have reached 47,896 people (estimated to be 50,000 infected) with +35 more deaths on Tuesday so that the death toll has reached 2,535 to 3,000 people in the near future, (Fatality Rate of 5.30%) *.

In addition, commodity prices are quite conducive where the price of Gold (the highest strength since October 2012), Nickel, Lead and CPO rose by + 1.10%, + 0.51%, 0.06% & + 0.44%, potentially * pushing up shares below the commodity * in trading this Wednesday.

1. PT Summarecon Agung (SMRA)

The company until the end of the first quarter of 2020 recorded a net profit of Rp37.03 billion, down 12.33% compared to the first quarter of 2019 of Rp42.24 billion. Furthermore, the company`s operating revenues in the first quarter of 2020 amounted to Rp1.03 trillion, down 1.98% compared to the end of March 2019, which was recorded at Rp1.06 trillion.


2. PT Steel Pipe Industry of Indonesia (ISSP)

The company recorded * loss of IDR75.21 billion up to March 31, 2020 or fell very sharply -447.07% * after reaching profit of IDR21.67 billion in the same period in 2019. Furthermore, the company until the end of the quarter 1/2020 posted a decline in sales of around 14 , 48% to Rp1.05 trillion from sales of Rp1.23 trillion in 2019.


3. PT NFC Indonesia (NFCX)

The company recorded a decrease in net profit for the year attributable to the owners of the parent entity by 62.91% to Rp5.08 billion as of March 31, 2020 compared to the same period in 2019 of Rp13.69 billion. Meanwhile, until the end of the 1st quarter of 2011, the company`s net income rose 143.24% to Rp2.05 trillion from Rp844.74 billion in the same period in 2019.


4. PT Minna Padi Investama Sekuritas (PADI)

Until the end of 2019, the company experienced * operating loss of Rp 111.709 billion, or an increase in loss of Rp 83.79 billion or an increase of 300.18% of the company`s operating loss in 2018, amounting to Rp 27, 91 billion *. Furthermore, the company`s operating income decreased from Rp 21.82 billion to a loss of Rp 88.93 billion or a decline in the Company`s operating income in 2019 amounting to Rp 111.08 billion or * -571.73% lower * compared to the Company`s operating income in in 2018. This decrease was mainly due to a decrease in income from securities trading intermediary activities due to unrealized losses on securities of Rp 118.2 billion in 2019 and a decrease in transaction commissions in 2019.


5. PT Toba Pulp Lestari (INRU)

The company posted a net sale of US $ 35.97 million in the first quarter of 2020, up 128.82% compared to the same period the previous year of US $ 15.72 million. However, due to an increase in expenses, * net loss per quarter up to 1/2020 rose 99.49% * to US $ 2.11 million.


6. PT Ciputra Development (CTRA)

The company will hold an EGMS on July 30, 2020, in order to obtain permission to implement PMTHMETD or private placement. The company plans to release as many as 1,853,595,525 new shares with a maximum of Rp250 per share, equivalent to 9.9% of the issued and fully paid capital.
