A. INDONESIA MORNING MARKET REVIEW
Friday (19/06/2020). The combination of DJIA fall of -0.15% and EIDO of -0.69% has the potential to be a negative sentiment for investors to take minor profit taking in trading this Friday amid the achievement of the highest number of returning victims who were infected and killed by Corvid19, finally Indonesia became number 1 in Southeast Asia in the number of people infected, where on Thursday the number of victims infected by Corvid19 is higher reaching +1,331 people * so far the victims of being infected by Corvid19 have reached around 42,762 people (estimated to reach 45,000 people infected) with Thursday`s death toll of +63 people so far the number death toll has reached 2,339 people to 2,500 people killed in the near future, (Fatality Rate of 5.47%) *.

On the other hand, the condition of commodity prices is quite diverse where the prices of Nickel, Oil and Coal strengthened by + 0.51%, + 3.02% & + 0.77%, respectively, potentially pushing up shares under the commodity in trading this Friday.

Knowing that IHSG has the opportunity to be affected by minor profit taking *, amid valuations many stocks are very attractive to buy, we recommend being very selective if investors want to do BOW, * especially stocks that will distribute dividends *, or Swing Trade, so they can focus on stocks from the Telko sector , Banks, Property, CPO, Automotive, Infrastructure, Consumer and Retail in this Friday trade.

 

 

B. INDONESIA CORPORATE NEWS

1. PT Bumi Serpong Damai (BSDE)

The Company implements PMTHMETD or private placement by releasing 1.92 billion shares or 10% of paid up capital. The exercise price was set at Rp640 per share so that the total funds to be received by BSDE were Rp1.23 trillion.

 

2. PT Provident Agro (PALM)

During the 1/2020 quarter, the company posted revenues of Rp 59.98 billion, up 23.15% compared to the same period in 2019 reaching Rp 48.70 billion. The increase on the revenue side was supported by revenue from the palm oil segment which grew 25.19% yoy to Rp 54.53 billion and the palm kernel segment which grew 5.80% yoy to Rp 5.44 billion in the first quarter of 2020. On the other hand, Until the end of quarter 1/2020 profit attributable to the parent entity aka net profit of IDR 10.14 billion in the first quarter of 2020, even though in the same period of 2019 the company posted a net loss of IDR 19.41 billion.

 

3. PT Phapros (PEHA)

The company is developing biology-based beauty products or stem cell metabolite secretions with Airlangga University. The revenue targeted by the company from the sale of these products is still under Rp 3 billion, but in the future the company is optimistic that the amount will increase in line with the current developing beauty trends and market demand.

 

4. PT ABM Investama (ABMM)

The company allocated a coal mine acquisition budget of US $ 150-250 million. The company is eyeing productive mining sites around Sumatra, East Kalimantan and South Kalimantan. The company is aiming for additional large coal reserves from the acquisition, which is around 70-100 million tons with calorie content above 4,000 kcal per kg. On the other hand, the company predicts, the coal production volume this year is around 12-13 million tons from the original target which was set at 15 million tons. Last year, the company recorded 11.76 million tons of production.
