Indonesia Market Today - 11 June 2020

Thursday (11/06/2020). The Fed`s statement hinting that it will keep interest rates low until 2022 is a pressure factor for the DJIA to fall back by -1.04% and if combined with the EIDO fall of -2.54% has the potential to push the JCI down again, although not as sharp as yesterday, in Thursday`s trade amid the increasing number of victims infected, even scored a new highest level, and died due to Corvid19, especially if the PSBB is relaxed, where Corona Virus on Wednesday set a record high infecting as many as 1,240 people so that so far the victims infected with Corvid19 have reached around 34,316 people (an estimate of 40,000 people contracted) with the addition of yesterday`s death toll of +36 people so far the death toll has reached 1,959 to 2,000 people killed in the near future, (Fatality Rate of 5.71%).

On the other hand, commodity price movements are quite diverse where Oil, Gold, Tin & Nickel prices have strengthened respectively by + 1.90%, + 1.56%, + 1.66% & + 0.74% so that it has the potential to raise shares below the commodity while it needs to be watched for the impact of CPO and Coal commodity price declines in trading this Thursday.

Knowing that IHSG has the opportunity to continue profit taking, in the middle of valuation, making quite a lot of shares back is very interesting to buy, we recommend being very selective if investors want to do BOW or Swing Trade, then they can focus on stocks from the Pharmaceutical, Telko, Gold Metal, Retail sectors , Banks, Coal and Property in trading this Thursday.
