Indonesia Market Today - 15 May 2020


Friday (15/05/2020). After going down for 3 days by -1,083.3 points (-4.51%), finally DJUA can rise and close up +377.3 points (+ 1.62%) and if combined with rising WTI crude oil prices by + 9.61% and Gold + 1.27% has the potential to become Positive sentiments driving the JCI up on Friday amid no visible signs of a decrease in alias the number of victims infected and killed by the Corona Virus in Indonesia is increasing where Corona Virus has infected 16,006 people (to 17,000 people) with a death toll of 1,043 people, leading to 1,100 people killed, (Fatality Rate of 6.52%).

On the other hand, the following commodity-based stocks such as: Coal -0.36%, Nickel -1.53%, Tin -0.23% and EIDO -0.44% have the potential to get selling pressure today.

Knowing that the IHSG has the potential to rebound, amidst foreign investors who continue to book Net Sell where YTD (as of May 14, 2020) reaches Rp -23.85 trillion and valuations there are still quite a lot of interesting stocks to buy, we recommend very selective if investors want doing BOW or Swing Trade can focus on stocks from the Consumer, Cigarette, Basic Industry, Chicken Feed, Gold Metal, Infrastructure, Hospital and Retail sectors in this Friday trade.


1. PT Solusi Bangun Indonesia (SMCB)
Until the first quarter of 2020, the company posted revenue of Rp 2.46 trillion supported by an increase in the sales volume of cement and slag by 5.78% to 2.84 million tons compared to the same period in 2019. Export sales volume also increased by 180.93% or 2 8 million tons compared to the first quarter of last year. Data from the Indonesian Cement Association (ASI), SMCB recorded total domestic and export cement sales of 16.29 million tons. At present, the focus of SMCB which synergizes with GIS is the sale of the Dynamix cement brand, which was launched at the end of the Third Quarter-2019.

2. PT Kalbe Farma (KLBF)
The company transferred the intangible assets between PT Enseval Putra Megatrading Tbk (EPMT) and PT Emos Global Digital. Both companies are subsidiaries of the company. On the other hand, until the first quarter of 2020, Kalbe scored a net profit of Rp 669.26 billion, up 12.46%, compared to the same period in 2019 of Rp 595.07 billion. The increase in net profit was driven by the company`s sales increase of 8.02% from Rp 5.26 trillion to Rp 5.79 trillion. The company`s prescription drug division became the main pillar of the company`s total sales by recording sales growth of 5.3% to Rp 1.3 trillion, and contributed 24.1% of total net sales.

3. PT Surya Toto Indonesia (TOTO)
Until the first quarter of 2020, the company recorded net sales to Rp482.90 billion, down -11.86% compared to the same period in 2019, which was valued at Rp547.89 billion. Meanwhile, until the first quarter of 2011 profit for the period reached IDR57.82 billion, up + 40.44% compared to the same period in 2019 of IDR41.17 billion.

4. PT Sumber Alfaria Trijaya (AMRT)
The Company made a profit for the year attributable to Owners of the Parent Entity of Rp 1.11 trillion, an increase of 71.12% compared to the same period in 2018 of Rp 650.14 billion. The increase in profit was because the company posted a consolidated net income of Rp 72.94 trillion in 2019, an increase of 9.16% compared to 2018 of Rp 66.82 trillion.

5. PT Cisadane Sawit Raya (CSRA)
The company posted revenue of IDR 492.30 billion in 2019, or decreased 13.3% compared to revenue in 2018 which amounted to IDR 567.79 billion. This decline in revenue was due to lower average selling prices of FFB and CPO in 2019. In fact, core FFB production rose by 10% yoy, from 263,778 tons in 2018 to 290,548 tons in 2019. Another cause was the CPO sales volume which fell by around 12 % yoy. This is in line with CPO production fell 13% yoy to 53,967 tons in 2019 from the previous 47,194 tons. Even so, the company`s net profit last year grew 1.18% yoy, from Rp 28.82 billion to Rp 29.16 billion.
