Despite the disappointing figures from JPMorgan & Chase along with the current slowdown in China’s economy the US indices rallied for the first time since last Thursday.
The DJIA climbed by 0.7%, while the S&P 500 gained 1.1%, posting its first close above 2,600 points since last December 1.
Should it continue to keep a hold on that level it’s a good indicator that it has seen the worst of the selloff pressure seen in last month.
Finally, the Nasdaq Composite was the biggest gainer of the day with a surge of 1.7%, also hitting the benchmark of 7,000 points forth first time since last December.
