The DJIA has enjoyed its longest streak since November and the S&P 500 has also its longest run of gains since September.

Furthermore, both indices are moving ever so closer away from correction territory.

The DJIA ended the session up 0.4% while the S&P 500 also increased by the same figure.

Both the DJIA and the S&P have increased by 9.57% and 9.95% since December 24.

The Nasdaq composite rose by 0.9% and although is still within the bear market it has rose by 12.3% since its gloomy Christmas Eve just recently.

Needing a further 7.7% to completely break away from the bear’s claws.
