Theresa May survives no-confidence vote
Theresa May survived a vote of no confidence by a slim margin as votes were 306 for and 325 against, following her defeat in parliament in attempting to get her Brexit proposal approved.
Which may put opposition leader Jeremy Corbyn on the shelf for some time regardless if he calls for another vote as the outcome may be the same.
The Northern Irish party along with Conservative Party lawmakers backed PM May and shortly after the announcement she reassured that her government would deliver a Brexit proposal which would be approved by the House and called on all members of parliament to unite in the interest of the country’s future.
For the time being, at least she won’t have to worry about a general election which helped the pound in making up lost ground and eased market tensions.
