South Korea's School of Integrated Sciences and Technologies launches crypto MBA degree

The Seoul School of Integrated Sciences and Technologies, also known as Assist, will launch a master’s degree in both cryptocurrency and blockchain technology, making it the first MBA certification offered by a graduate school.

In an official statement it announced, “The mission of Assist business school’s crypto MBA program is to remedy the lack of academic research and systematic education currently available in the industry, despite a high level of social interested in the blockchain and cryptocurrency.”

The curriculum will consist of additional courses specializing in Bitcoin, Ethereum and EOS, while students will also be tested on general cryptology, deep learning, smart contracts capabilities and system dynamics mechanisms.

Requirements will also include courses in management mechanisms, strategic statistics, digital marketing strategies, digital financial accounting, dApp planning, crypto funds.

Students with interest in launching their own altcoin or blockchain projects will be bale to attend courses in whitepaper composition.

Assist will join other institutions such as the New York University which launched its course “Law and Business of Bitcoin and Cryptocurrencies” in 2014 and Carnegie Mellon University who will launch two separate courses in “Blockchain Fundamentals” and “Cryptocurrencies, Blockchains and Applications”.
