New survey suggests Britain wants a second referendum on Brexit
- 2 weeks ago
The UK is nearing its leaving due date on March 29, however, there is a growing sentiment amongst Britons which might call for a second referendum on whether or not to leave the EU bloc.
While PM Theresa May continues her struggles to get an approval from parliament on her proposed Brexit deal, a survey published earlier today shows that Britons are 54 to 46 per cent in favour of remaining.
And while the PM has rebuked the notion of a second round of voting the survey also suggests that 41% think that the final decision should lay with the people.
Nevertheless, next week will finally see as to whether lawmakers accept May’s Brexit deal, therefore some clarity should be brought to the whole issue.
