A. Indonesia Morning Market Review
Tuesday (12/03/2019). After the 5-day streak of the DJIA dropped, it finally rose, although at the beginning of the DJIA had dropped due to a decline in Boeing shares, Apple shares rose 3.47% - after Bank of America Merrill Lynch increased shares to BUY from NEUTRAL and Facebook shares rose 1.46% after Nomura updated to BUY from NEUTRAL, the DJIA finally closed up + 0.79%. If the DJIA increase is combined with an increase in EIDO + 1.08% and a gain of + 1.32% Oil, it will be a catalyst for the JCI to rebound in Tuesday's trade.
B. Indonesia Corporate News
1. PT Aneka Tambang (ANTM)
Throughout 2018, ANTM's net sales value reached Rp 25.24 trillion, with gold being the largest component of revenue, or contributing as much as Rp 16.69 trillion, around 66% of total net sales in 2018. In addition, the volume of ferronickel production in 2018 was recorded amounting to 24,868 tons of nickel in ferronickel (TNi), up 14% from the previous year's achievement, namely 21,762 TNi and ferronickel sales reaching 24,135 TNi, growing 10% compared to 2017 amounting to 21,878 TNi.
Meanwhile, ferronickel sales in 2018 were the second largest contributor of ANTM's total net sales, with a contribution of Rp. 4.66 trillion or 18% of the total net sales of 2018. For gold commodities, ANTM recorded the highest sales achievement in history in the past year, with gold sales volume of 27,894 kg (896,812 t.oz) or a significant increase of 111% compared to 2017 achievement of 13,202 kg (424,454 t.oz). The company also recorded an increase in net profit of 541% as of December 31, 2018 to Rp874.42 billion from the same period in 2017 of Rp.136.5 billion.
2. PT Bukit Asam (PTBA)
Throughout 2018, the company posted a net profit of Rp5.02 trillion, up 12.3% compared to 2017 which was recorded at Rp.4.47 trillion. The company's revenue was IDR21.17 trillion, which consisted of 49% of domestic coal sales, 48% of export coal sales and the remaining 3% of other business activities. Operational performance throughout 2018 noted, production increased by more than 2.12 million tons and export sales increased by more than 1.54 million tons with coal transportation through railways rising more than 1.32 million tons from the same period the previous year (2017) .
3. PT Garuda Maintenance AeroAsian (GMFI)
Throughout 2018, the company printed revenues of US $ 470.09 million in 2018, up 6.99% from 2017 worth US $ 439.28 million. Meanwhile, the company posted profits attributable to parent entities of US $ 30.54 million in 2018, or down 40.04% compared to 2017 which was valued at US $ 50.94 million.
