A. Indonesia Morning Market Review

Monday (10/12/2018).The DJIA's fall last Friday week -558.7 points (-2.24%) making the DJIA down -1.7% so far this year, besides EIDO which fell -1.69%, as negative factor for the JCI trading that we predicted would likely weakening today.

 

Government Debt Payments Increased 19.3% to Rp 210, trillion. The trend of rising interest rates and fluctuations in the rupiah exchange rate throughout the year helped lift government spending for debt interest payments. Until November, the realization of government debt interest payments reached IDR 251.1 trillion or grew 19.3% compared to the same period the previous year at IDR 210.5 trillion. The realization of debt interest payments has exceeded 105.2% of the 2018 state budget ceiling, which amounted to Rp 238.6 trillion. Projected payment of government debt at the end of the year reaches IDR 249.4 trillion.

 

 

B. Indonesia Corporate News

1. PT Mark Dynamics Indonesia (MARK)

By having a competitive advantage in terms of quality and cost and availability of labor, MARK is optimistic that it will be able to score 30% net profit growth in 2019. In addition, next year, MARK aims to increase the production capacity of gloves to 630,000 pieces per month which is currently MARK's production capacity is only 540,000 pieces per month. Additional capacity will be carried out gradually every year. For expansion this time, MARK has prepared around Rp 100 billion. This fund comes from Bank Permata loans of US $ 8.1 million. The expansion was carried out in the form of purchasing land and buildings worth Rp. 60 billion and purchasing new machines worth Rp. 40 billion.

 

2. PT Timah (TINS)

In 2019, the company targets a revenue increase of 19% and a profit increase of 73% from this year's projection. There are a number of factors that make this target achievable, among others because of the washing tool to process the increase in tin ore levels that have been operating from the end of September 2018 as well as an increase in exploration and stripping to facilitate the mining process at sea. For production, the company is still pursuing a tin production target of 32,800 tons and sales of 31,400 tons. As of September, the realization of production reached 21,264 tons and sales of 20,174 tons. While PT Timah's capex in 2019 will increase by around 18% (Rp. 2.48 trillion) compared to the 2018 capex which is pegged at Rp. 2.1 trillion

 

3. PT Aneka Tambang (ANTM)

The company prepares capital expenditure of Rp 3.4 trillion. In addition to continuing the processing plant construction project, the company is awaiting exploration mining business licenses to work on the North Bahodopi nickel mine block, Morowali, Central Sulawesi and the Matarape nickel mining block, Southeast Sulawesi. The company aims to produce and sell 30,000 tons of nickel in ferronickel. Until September, ANTM has produced 19,264 tons of nickel in ferronickel.
