Thursday (01/11/2018). In the October, the JCI fell -0.62% along with Foreign Net Sells of Rp. 3.45 trillion, if referring to the JCI Heat Map for the last 10 years (2007-2017), there was a 70% probability during November the JCI will experience selling pressure. While this Thursday, we predict the JCI will weakening as the decline of commodity prices such as Oil, Coal, Gold, Nickel & CPO while waiting for October inflation data to be estimated at 0.15%.
B. Indonesia Corporate News
1. PT Semen Indonesia (SMGR)
The company earned Rp21.45 trillion in revenue as of September 30, 2018. The amount edged up 4.40 percent from the same period last year of Rp20.55 trillion. The current period profit attributable to the owners of the parent entity was Rp2.08 trillion in the III / 2018 quarter, up 43% from Rp1.45 trillion in the same period last year.
2. PT Bumi Serpong Damai (BSDE)
Until the third quarter of 2018, the company's operating income only reached IDR 4.79 trillion, down from the same period in 2017 which reached IDR 5.91 trillion. The current period's profit in the third quarter of 2018 fell to Rp599.17 billion compared to the same period in 2017, which amounted to Rp230 trillion.
3. PT Ace Hardware (ACES)
Until the third quarter of 2018, the net sales of these household retail companies were recorded at IDR 5.16 trillion, up from the same period in 2017 which only reached IDR 4.22 trillion. The attributable current profit rose to IDR 697.37 billion in the third quarter of 2018 from the previous IDR 526.47 billion in the third quarter of 2017.
4. PT Total Bangun Persada (TOTL)
As of the third quarter of 2018, the company managed to generate operating revenues of Rp2.01 trillion, up 1% from the same period of the previous year of Rp1.99 trillion. The current profit attributable to the owners of the parent entity rose to Rp192.94 billion from the previous Rp191.46 billion in the third quarter of the previous year.
5. PT Modern International (MDRN)
The company posted a profit for the period of Rp2,623 billion up to the third quarter of 2018. This result was recorded better than the same period last year which recorded a loss of up to Rp806.08 billion. Until the third quarter of 2018, the company's net sales only reached Rp. 63.12 billion, down considerably compared to the same period last year which reached Rp. 189.62 billion.
6. PT Indah Kiat Pulp & Paper (INKP)
The company posted a net profit of US $ 516.17 million, up 79.58% year on year (yoy) from US $ 287.43 million in the period of September 2017. Net sales rose in the January-September 2018 period by 11.06% to US $ 2.51 billion from the previous US $ 2.26 billion in the same period the previous year.
7. PT Tjiwi Kimia Paper Factory (TKIM)
The company posted an increase in net profit of 1,004% to US $ 247.89 million in the 3/2018 quarter. Compare this with the net profit in the same period last year of US $ 22.46 million where this profit occurred because of the net profit of the associate of US $ 215 million. In terms of income, Tjiwi Kimia recorded 4.5% growth to US $ 817.44 million from US $ 782 million.
