Dow and S&P500 turn negative after Trump threatens shutdown

The S&P500 and the Dow Jones Industrial Average shed their early gains in Tuesday’s session, the DJIA down 0.29% losing 71.95, the S&P dipped 0.03% losing 0.90 and the Nasdaq Composite on the other hand rose by 0.23% by 15.82 points.

Trading began on a positive as news of progress in trade talks between Washington and Beijing but things turned sour as Donald Trump threatened to shut down federal government over the funding of the Mexico border wall.
