Boeing unveils new production plant in China

Regardless of the ongoing trade spat between the U.S. and China, Boeing has inaugurated its first plant in Zhoushan, China as it seeks to extend the lead they have over lifetime rival Airbus and cement itself as the world’s largest plane maker.
The company also successfully decorated its first plant produced 737 to Air China during the ceremony attended by representatives of China’s planner and aviation regulator and top executives form both Boeing and Air China.
Both Boeing and Airbus have been in the race to expand their operations in China as demand is in increase within the region as it looks to surpass the U.S. as the largest aviation market.
Boeing forecasts demand in China to reach 7,700 airplanes for the upcoming 20 years with a value of $1.2 trillion.
